Pfizer Wants to Help Brazilian Startups

Pharmaceuticals company Pfizer wants to find more innovative healthcare products within the Brazilian startup sector. The company created a startup fostering project with local investment firm, Berrini Ventures. They want to work with early-stage, established and scaling companies. The contest is available online, and startups have until September 4 to apply.

Then, Pfizer executives, healthcare companies, Berrini Ventures and hospitals will select 12 organizations to pitch their products and ideas. On September 27, three winners will be announced at the Hospital Innovation show in São Paulo. Winners receive an acceleration program with Berrini Ventures, as well as a mentoring program at Pfizer’s offices in Brazil.
