For those of you that are not yet addicted to podcasting, let me start with a quick intro. A podcast, to me, is the equivalent of free, “on demand,” radio, but you are not limited to listening to cheesy local stations or anything that isn’t relevant to you. So if you like on demand services like Netflix, Hulu, SiriusXM, or on demand cable, you are very likely going to love podcasting.
I titled this article, the Top 10 Podcasts For Modern Entrepreneurs, after listening to over 100+ different business, marketing and entrepreneurial podcasts. These podcasts represent what I consider modern business related topics. The topics range from entrepreneurship, sales, social media marketing, online marketing, personal branding and beyond.
I became hooked on podcasting a few years ago, and my only goal today is to introduce you to a medium that is exploding before our eyes and that covers virtually every genre you can possibly imagine.

My Top 10 Podcasts for the Modern Entrepreneur!
In this long running and very popular podcast and webshow, Jaime Masters interviews millionaire/billionaire entrepreneurs. She focuses on the exact strategies and tactics that helped them get there. Jaime even wrote a book about what she learned from interviewing over 350+ millionaires called, The Eventual Millionaire – How Anyone Can be an Entrepreneur and Successful Grow their Startup.
This top ranked podcast is hosted by John Lee Dumas, who interviews entrepreneurs and dives into not only their successes but also their failures. This show runs 7 days a week, so there is always something new and interesting to tune into during your workout or on your drive to work. John has built a 7-figure business around his podcast, so beyond his amazing guests, he shares plenty of his own insight into entrepreneurship and how to build a successful business.
Chris Ducker is the host of this show and focuses mainly on sharing insights from top entrepreneurs who can not only talk the talk, but who can walk the walk when it comes to building a successful business through personal branding. As Chris calls it, it’s about building the business of you!
This show, co-hosted by Bill Caskey and Bryan Neale, focuses on, you guessed it, what’s working now to help sales people become top producers. Bill and Bryan periodically have guests, but the main focus is answering questions from the audience and discussing common issues and challenges related to selling in today’s very noisy world.
Michael Stelzner’s show focuses on all things social media where he shares new and interesting tools and innovations but also interviews top experts and practitioners to share what’s working now to keep his audience on the cutting edge of social media. Listen to this show if you want to learn new strategies and tactics and gain actionable tips to improve your social media marketing.
This long-running podcast and website is hosted by Andrew Warner, who digs deep and who is not afraid to ask hard questions. He regularly interviews high-profile guests including Tim Ferris, Guy Kawasaki, Gary Vaynerchuk and Seth Godin. His goal is to provide a “street smart” education to the entrepreneurial community.
Pat Flynn was one of the first podcasters I ever listened to, and I still do today. The focus of this show is on how to build a passive income online. Pat Flynn is known as the crash test dummy of internet marketing and never fails to deliver huge value and nuggets galore. I met Pat recently at Podcast Movement in Chicago and it only reinforced why this guy has such a cult following!
Donald Kelly is the sales evangelist, so he interviews top producers and entrepreneurs to uncover the best sales and marketing strategies. Donald brings a different perspective and energy to sales training as compared to the traditional old school sales training that can sometimes put you to sleep.
Love him or hate him, GaryVee always delivers value. In this show, Gary Vaynerchuk answers questions from the audience about business, innovation, social media and beyond. Gary is known to always have an eye on the future and provides interesting insight with his high-energy style, entertaining format and no BS advice!
Nathan Latka’s show came out of nowhere and has taken the podcasting world by storm. Nathan interviews top entrepreneurs ranging from fast growing Saas entrepreneurs to Billion dollar Hedge Fund managers. He asks the tough questions and demands honest answers from his guest—no fluff here.
