Instagram just released hashtag stories and location stories on the explore page. This allows you to discover more of what’s going on around you or look at posts based on a specific hashtag.
You can also share your posts and add these stickers to connect with more people around you or reach your target audience.
If you want to reach more people with your story, add a location sticker to post. Click on the location sticker and add a location near you. Once you add it to your posts, Instagram users near your location will start seeing your story.
You can also reach people with a specific interest by adding a hashtag sticker. Add a post to your story and click on the hashtag sticker. You will now see hashtags auto-populating at the bottom of your screen. Select the hashtag you want to add to your post. Now people will be able to see your story based on the hashtag you used.
You can also search for posts based on your location or hashtag. Type in the hashtag or location you want to search on the explore page and you’ll see the new feed at the top of the page.
If you are curious to see if your story has been featured on any local feeds, open up the post and swipe down. You will see any local stories has been featured it on at the top.
