They have to do it all in just four days, and they have teenagers to help them.
4 Days to Save the World is a program created to see change happen in communities around the world. It was created by Christopher LaVoie, a filmmaker & executive producer best known for his other titles, Top Recruiter: Miami (2015) and The Retreat (2022). His life and past experiences served as inspiration for the TV series, pushing him to create something that would leave a mark in the lives of those who went through the struggles he experienced early on.
“As a child, I experienced some serious challenges while growing up,” explains LaVoie. “It’s critical for the youth and all people to be empowered. When you are on set, you can experience this enhanced empowerment. It’s magical to feel.”

The film centers around a group of teenagers who pair up with world-class entrepreneurs to “build the impossible.” The impossible is a challenge to end homelessness in just four days. 4 Days to Save the World dives into possibilities, looking into ideation sessions to create initiatives that could leave a lasting mark on societies and generations of homeless people.
4 Days to Save the World is more than just some social experiment for the film’s director. It’s a deep dive into what’s truly possible when people commit to a charitable goal.
“This is where dreams come true,” added LaVoie. “During this social experiment in Miami, we witnessed brilliant minds coming together: mothers and sons, fathers and daughters spending time together—building a closer relationship with one another.”
What makes the film stand out is how it engineers relationships to show the bond people build when chasing after a goal. It dives into the connections between global communities and close-knit families, entering into arenas that other films might not have touched on in this light in the past.
4 Days to Save the World also has specific energy to it, given the short timeline given for the project. It dives into a group called “Team Homelessness” that starts as strangers on the first day and becomes a family only 98 hours after. Apart from creating friendships forged by a missional desire to see change happen, it’s also an effort that brought a financially viable solution to help people experiencing homelessness.
One character in the series, Leonce Luma Jr, was someone who had experienced homelessness in the past. He served as a pivotal force in Team Homelessness and helped give everyone a deeper understanding of the challenges and emotions involved in living a homeless life.
The show also features entrepreneurial leaders such as Trina Celeste, Julie Hubert, Rhett Powers, Doug Van Dyke, June Klein, Yun Rhee, Charlotte Mattfolk, Shelby Scarbrough, and others. 4 Days to Save the World is now available on streaming sites like H2HTV, AppleTV, Amazon FireTV, Roku, and many more. The program is expanding onto many of the most popular TV streaming networks this summer worldwide.
