Today she shares her best practices for creating a powerful vision board that gets incredible results.
- Use the correct images.
Lots of people think that creating a successful vision board is as simple as cutting out some pretty images and sticking them to a piece of cardboard, but this isn’t the case. The images you choose must evoke the correct emotions of what you are trying to attract, otherwise your board won’t work properly, explains Juliette. A trick you can use to make sure you are using images that produce the right emotions is to choose images of someone who looks like you, this way you trick yourself into believing it is you when you look at your board which will ultimately get you a better result.
- Focus on what you want, not what you don’t want.
A common mistake people make when they first create a vision board is focusing on things they do not want, rather than what they do want. For example: putting words like “debt free” on your board which actually places your attention on debt rather than the attraction of money. In this instance you would be better off using a phrase like “wealth creation” which would help you to focus on the feeling of money rather than drawing your attention to debt.
- Choose the correct time frame.
Lots of people tend to make vision boards focused years into the future but this doesn’t always work in your favour, says Juliette. If you create vision boards that are too far into the future, they won’t keep you as motivated or inspired and therefore won’t be as effective. I find 6-8 months to be the perfect sweet spot that enables you to feel anchored to your vision board and desires on a daily basis.
- Create a hard copy, not a digital.
It’s easy to get caught in the trap of thinking that a digital board will work just as well as a hard copy board but Juliette believes otherwise. When you create a digital board you are less likely to look at it everyday and give it the time and attention it needs to work. Furthermore, when you set aside time to create a hardcopy board you allow yourself to connect with your desires on a deeper level which will increase your chances of manifesting what you want.
- Make sure you back it up.
Once you’ve created your vision board it’s important you do the correct energetic work to back it up, says Juliette. This could include things like daily meditation, affirmations, visualization, and making sure you remain in a surrendered state, as surrender is a necessary part of manifesting what you want.
