In today’s modern world, very few people are concerned about what is happening in their surroundings. Most people are engaged in their own uplifting and often forget they have a duty towards their nation as well. They often realize that there are few things in society that needs to be changed, but they never work on it themselves. They simply ignore the need for change and carry on with their lives. But for change to happen, you just need to change yourself. You must become intolerant towards the evils in society and bring about reforms. This is where social activism plays a major role. Many social activists in India are working to make a better society for future generations and one such name that is setting an example for ‘age is never a limit’ is Aditya Sharma.
Aditya Sharma is a 20-year-old young and visionary social activist from a small city in Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. Do not be fooled by his young appearance. He is rather a roaring lion when it comes to social activism. He has always been on the front lines when it comes to helping the young and needy as well. He is a firm believer in the idea that change and social reform begin with you. No matter how big you think the problem is you must never give up. If you are doing something that benefits society, see to it that you make it happen. Because of his hard work and determination to help the people in need, he was proudly accepted in the Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP). ABVP is one of the largest social welfare groups for youngsters in India. It has given some famous leaders like Amit Shah to Indian politics.
Not just a member of ABVP, but Aditya has also founded the NGO Youth Social-Cultural Welfare Society and Bharat Youth Forum. Through these, he aims to partner with more like-minded youngsters in his mission to develop a reformed society – a society where all are treated equally. He wishes to eliminate all forms of discrimination and give hope to the needy that they too can live with dignity in society. Aditya has actively participated and steered several social movements for the benefit of the people. He is greatly influenced by Swami Vivekananda and Swatantra Veer Sawarkar. For him, social work is his priority. Because of such nature, he is regarded as one of the most powerful rising names in the political scenario.
Aditya doesn’t just preach service above self but also acts on it. Even in times of pandemics, he was actively involved in distributing food packets and face masks to the needy. He always meets people to better understand their problems and tries everything in his power to help them. Though young his views and thinking are much matured. He is truly a gem of a person. Aditya is truly the face of youth empowerment. He is setting up an example for all the youngsters who often forget that when the nation gives you something, you must give back something to the nation as well. It makes us very proud to see people like Aditya Sharma who are young yet selfless when it comes to the development of society and the nation.
