A worldwide pandemic brought the entire world to a halt. India was under lockdown for more than 2 months. Due to lockdown constraints, we were confined to our homes and can’t meet our loved ones. The film industry faced the disastrous aftermaths caused by the lockdown. Many lost their jobs, while some changed their profession for a few months.
But there was someone who made full benefit of this situation and weaved a story out of it. Film Director Rahul Gupta, who was stuck at his home created an unusual concept for a web series.
Rahul Gupta is a known director in the digital space for his web series ‘Beer Boys & Vodka Girls’. He has worked as channel director for Asia’s biggest Facebook Entertainment page ‘Laughing Colours’. Rahul Gupta quotes ” Just like everyone I was stuck at my place too.
As everything was closed, I decided to open up my mind. It took me around 72 hours of brainstorming to crack this idea. It’s a unique kind of love story, where an ex-couple gets stuck together in a home during the lockdown. In short, It is a beautiful and complete journey, inside a 1BHK apartment. The title of the web series is MADE FOR EACH OTHER.
Due to the second wave, the shooting of the web series has been delayed. As soon as the situation gets normal, Rahul Gupta will soon commence the shooting of the web series in Delhi. The title track of the digital content is created by Indian Idol season 12 fame Md. danish. The film is produced by well-known producer Pawan Chawada. The web will be released on one of the well-known OTT platforms in India.
