CBD for Dogs: The Best Products Based on 1200 Interviews

When it comes to our pets, we only want them to have the best.

Although CBD-based products are now available for pets, pet owners are often limited to infusing their dog’s meals with tinctures and oils. However, not every dog is a fan of the taste of CBD tinctures and oils. Although CBD can help with joint pain and anxiety, it can be difficult for you to get your dog to take CBD. This is why some companies have started offering CBD treats for dogs. 

We found that there’s a wide variety of CBD dog treats out there that pets love. So to get a better understanding of the CBD-for-pets industry, we surveyed 1200 people. We asked dog-owners questions regarding what CBD-treats they were giving their dogs and which companies they were shopping with. Here are the results:

Verma Farms

Considered the premier choice amongst pet owners, Verma Farms has a lineup of dog treats that have been an absolute smash in the pet world. Owners who have given their dogs Verma’s CBD dog treats have reported that their dogs showed signs of relief for anxiety, pain, and arthritis. Rounding out their mission with a donation of a treat for every product sold site-wide, Verma Farms’ care for the animal world is unmatched.

Fomo Bones

Fomo Bones is another great brand for our furry friends. Made from ingredients like Passionflower, L-Tryptophan, Valerian Root, and Chamomile, their dog bones have been noted for treating anxiety, stress, and common symptoms in elderly dogs. Although a relative newcomer in the CBD-for-pets space, their lineup of bones has made a large bark in the industry. It would not be surprising if their line-up of treats makes them a top-dog for years to come.

Canna-Pet

Canna-Pet creates CBD products exclusively for pets; their lineup of dog treats are made with organic, high-quality ingredients. According to pet-owners, their Maple Bacon treats are a hit amongst dogs; these treats are made from organic barley flour, cured bacon (yes, real bacon), organic maple powder, organic cinnamon, and, of course, cannabinoids from hemp. Additionally, Canna-Pet also offers PBB&A (peanut butter, banana, and apple), and Turkey Dinner. Canna-Pet’s biscuits are one of the highest-ranked on the market. Treatibles

Due to their broad-spectrum hemp oil, pets that are given Treatibles dog treats not only feel the effects of the CBD almost immediately, but it also allows the effects of the CBD to last for an extended amount of time. Furthermore, one of the most impressive things about Treatibles’ lineup is their variety. Currently, Treatibles has Sweet Potato Soft Chews, Regular Soft Chews, Calm (Turkey Flavored), Balance (a Pumpkin-flavored hard chew), and Ease (Blueberry hard chew).

Treatibles claims that their products go above and beyond relaxing dogs, and help with emotional intelligence as well as digestive problems. Nonetheless, Treatibles has a solution for almost every dog owner.

Pet Releaf

Pet Releaf is another brand that should not be overlooked. Their hard chews – cleverly called Edibites – include Peanut Butter Banana and Blueberry Cranberry, which come in regular or large dog sizes (as well as a trial size at $8.99 per bag). All their Edibites feature organic, full-spectrum CBD, as well as other organic ingredients and nutrients such as honey, vitamin C, vitamin E, and sunflower. 

As for their soft chews, their supplements include primarily organic ingredients and come in flavors like Sweet Potato Pie as well as Peanut Butter & Carob Swirl. Perhaps the most interesting addition is their Keith Haring collection, which will feature the flavors Pizza and Sushi.

Honest Paws

Honest Paws is one of the best suppliers of CBD dog treats on the market. What makes Honest Paws so special is their extensive lineup. This lineup includes organic ingredients across the board, such as oats, barley, peanut butter, and coconut oil.

Charlotte’s Web

Charlotte’s Web offers all-natural chews in two different varieties. Pet owners can choose between Calming, which offers valerian root, passionflower, and chamomile to help with adding a calm effect to your dog’s disposition. Or Cognition, which promotes a healthy immune system and improved brain function. With each dosage coming in at 2.5mg per chew, this US-grown CBD comes from one of the most recognizable brands in the CBD space.

Cee Bee Doo

Cee Bee Doo is a company in the CBD-for-pets space that is on the rise. Their current offerings include Steak Bites, Beef Wraps, Doggy Bacon, Chicken Balls, Cheese Wraps, and Milk-Bone. Cee Bee Doo treats have been noted to reduce a dog’s anxiety. 

Zesty Paws

To round out our list is Zesty Paws, which has a few different treat-options meant to help dogs with a variety of ailments.
