Talking about his motivation and what inspires him, Charles says that looks up to his mother and she has been a major inspiration to his success. His mother had no proper education but she rose to become a successful businesswoman and a respected humanitarian while raising 10 educated children. His mother has taught him to never be afraid of trying something new. Without failure, you will never know what success is. 

One of the main reasons that he is currently living in Beverly Hills and owns many investment properties is because of his mother. She is Charles’ greatest inspiration second to God. He came to this country as a refugee when he was only 11 years old.

God and the Church have helped him in many ways by providing food, a roof over his head, and support when the country seemed so alienated and foreign to him. Now that he has become financially secure, Charles has no hesitation in helping out Churches and charitable organizations. 

Regarding balancing his personal and work life, Charles says that he always tries his best to balance both. Charles is strongly committed to his work and it always comes first. He admits that he is a workaholic but finds time for important things in his life. Charles always makes time to spend with his two dogs as they are also a source of his inspiration. 

When the COVID pandemic hit, many businesses came to a halt and so did his. So he decided to shift his time and resources in helping the elderly and people with disabilities as they were prisoners in their own homes. He helped them in getting vaccinated as they couldn’t even drive to the centers. He was happy to be a source of hope and strength for them. 

For Charles, the most important things are trust, integrity, and dedication to his work, projects, and his clients. He has a strong commitment towards his work and finishes what he has started. He likes to get things done and take on new challenges. He is not afraid to learn new things and is always open to take criticism and advice to become better. Even though Charles can hold up his viewpoints, he always keeps an open mind.

Charles has been through considerable hardships while growing up. When he was 11 years old, his parents had to put him on a boat as they were escaping the Vietnam war. They left Vietnam in the pitch of darkness in hopes and dreams to find a better world. They were drifting in the open sea for 5 days without food and water.

He saw people sick and dying next to him. Once they were rescued, Charles and his family were put in a concentration camp for over a year. Miraculously, he managed to survive all of this and reach where he is today. He says that if he can go through all that and still survive, he can survive anywhere. The hurdles he faces today are nothing compared to what he had gone through 40 years ago.

Charles believes not just in working hard but also, working smart. We should not protect our assets but let our assets protect and work for us. If he can come from nowhere with English as his second language and manage to become a formidable force in Beverly Hills as a successful real estate agent, then no one can have an excuse to not try harder. It’s all in the decisions you make.

Outside of work, he believes in always trying his best, including giving back. Charles is currently a consistent donor to over 18 charitable organizations including The International Christian Fellowship Program for Children, Humans Against Animal Cruelty, SPCA, ASPCA, Red Cross, Salvation Army, LA’s Mission to Feed the Homeless, Wounded Soldiers Project, Doctors without Borders and many more.

Charles is adamant about business planning and business organization. He plans to double his sales production from 50 to 100 transactions per year. He also plans to double his gross sale dollar volume in 3 years.
