Dj Bander is no stranger to the influence music can have on one’s life. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and a Los Angeles transplant, DJ Bander is a lifelong master pianist who studied Jazz composition at Musician’s Institute and Brooklyn Academy of Music. He also studied orchestration at USC school of music. This background in composition led DJ Bander to his path of skills in music production and vocal arrangement.
What sets DJ Bander apart is his understanding of business and marketing. Many artists have the deep creative aspect of making music, while their marketing knowledge suffers. This is a recipe to disaster for a lot of artists, but Bander has used his marketing skills to stay on top.
DJ Bander formed a partnership with Nadya Rousseau in 2020, founder of a global marketing and PR agency Alter New Media. Together, they have developed comprehensive packages targeting the independent artist and music-centric brands. Packages range from artist development, audio production, and social media growth strategies
DJ Bander has charted twice in the Beatport top 100 as well as charting number one on iTunes downtempo chart for his award winning EP, entitled The Arrival.
To date, DJ Bander has worked with major artists like Jon B, Taryn Manning, and has an upcoming record with Famous Dex. This entrepreneurial DJ is also known for his business show “The Finance Bunch,” on Dash Radio.
DJ Bander also hosts some of the largest business and music rooms on Club House, offering free advice as well as paid business consultations to artists and small business owners.
DJ Bander plans to throw his own electronic events this year at independent venues as well as major night clubs in Hollywood, sourcing some of the largest EDM and hip hop talent as well as giving up and coming artists an opportunity to shine. He also has upcoming releases with Milian Beatz, Kymber McClay, and others.
