Eddie Neam has worked in every aspect of the music industry, which has led him to become a full-time entrepreneur in the field today. With all of his knowledge, he is primarily focused on assisting established and independent artists in making a name for themselves and obtaining charting certification for their records, but having worked as an executive music producer, DJ, and expert tour manager, he has a lot to offer artists and record labels alike.
Finding A Way In
Eddie Neam got his start in the music industry as a professional DJ on the iHeart Radio airways. As a result, Neam interned with big record companies and began producing behind the scenes for major and indie musicians. “It took me seven years to develop my brand,” says Neam “I started with nothing, and all it took to get to where I am now was a handshake and a smile.”
Connections Are Key
That handshake and a grin resulted in numerous long-lasting contacts, which have helped Neam maintain his position in the industry to this day. “A Def Jam Recordings music executive once told me that cooperation makes the dream work,” Neam adds. “I couldn’t agree with him more. I adore my circle of friends, and I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them.”
Superstar Success Stories
Eddie Neam has successfully earned gold and multi-platinum certification for his big record marketing and promotion. Among these chart-topping singles are YFN Lucci’s “Everyday We Lit” featuring PnB Rock, which was certified gold after peaking at #12 on the Billboard hip-hop charts, and Tyga’s “Taste” featuring Offset, which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 in August of 2018. This includes collaborating with Def Jam Recordings to help push Kanye West’s releases. Neam has also been successful in getting independent recordings into the mediabase rankings.
Producing with a Purpose
Neam believes he has discovered his calling in the music industry, and he attributes his present success and determination to that calling. “Success to me is pursuing your life’s primary purpose,” he explains. “Being aware of who you are in the world and what you can do to generate positive energy.” When you feel like you’re using all of the instruments that the universe gives for the larger good of bringing peace to this planet, I believe you’re successful.”
An Always Changing Industry
