There’s something captivating about the artists that keep everyone hooked. Mesmerizing with her beauty and hosting skills, Angela Rebello has time and again charmed us with her work as an emcee and a TV host. The celebrated name who has hosted the biggest events like the 65th Filmfare Awards and Filmfare OTT Awards has shared the stage with almost many big wigs from different walks of life.
Interestingly, her association with Filmfare has been for four years, and she rightly left everyone in awe of her hosting skills. Playing the role of more than a host, Angela’s ability to make conversations lively and make any candid conversation a fun chat has made her an established emcee in India.
To date, the renowned emcee has done more than 1500 shows and has travelled to more than 50 countries. At this time, travelling is what the emcee misses the most. However, during the epidemic, Angela Rebelo made the most of her time with her family. She says, “Lockdown was great. I enjoyed the time with my family and learnt household things that I never tried before.”
In an environment where work became uncertain, staying connected through digital means was the only option all of us had. Eventually, she hosted several virtual events for corporates and entertained the audience digitally with her extraordinary hosting skills. As far as her one on one conversations goes, she moderated virtual interactions with Sourav Ganguly, Kapil Dev, Chetan Bhagat, Mandira Bedi, Sonali Bendre, Rujuta Diwekar and many other reputable names.
For the shows, Angela has hosted Guru Gaur Gopal Das, Devdutt Pattanaik and has worked with well-known brands like Google, HDFC, Yes Bank, ICICI, Sanofi and Cipla to name a few. Apart from this, Rebello has done an ample number of political events and has worked with many notable politicians like Devendra Fadnavis, Ashok Chavan, Suresh Shetty, Prithviraj Chavan and many more.
Besides setting the stage on fire, the host has now got accustomed to the new normal and is leaving everyone’s jaws dropped by hosting several virtual and digital event shows for celebrities, brands and influencers.
