His eye for creativity saw video and color through a unique perspective, able to piece together the perfect shots and scenes for any concept or story.
Ishell Vaughan’s name gained notoriety as a professional filmmaker and cinematographer and after learning valuable lessons along the path of his dreams, he held a wealth of knowledge and expertise to take the next step. Ishell Vaughan founded his media and entertainment company, Ishell Vaughan Films, which to date operates and shoots production level drones for short films, commercials and stock footage.
Not placing a cap to his ceiling, he partnered with fellow creatives NimiHendrix and Denity to create Secret Society Motion Pictures.What started from humble beginnings, grew into something monumental in popularity as a staple in the tri-state and surrounding areas. Together, they are not only responsible for the visuals of some of hip hop’s most cherished artists, but they are pushing the culture forward through one of the most intuitive film internship programs run by their company.
Ishell Vaughan is the result of perseverance, determination, and ambition. Faced with failures and disappointments, he chose to use their occurrence as teachers rather than reasons to give up. He started from the bottom, and in time his grind built a sustainable and profitable career with his craft.
