Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Mc David J is an independent artist looking to make a name for himself in the hip hop industry. Ever since he was a young kid, he remembers growing up with a heavy musical influence. Both his father and grandmother were musicians and played the guitar. He followed in their footsteps and picked up the guitar as his first instrument. From there, he went on to learn the trumpet, piano, drums, and eventually software tools for making music. Now at 25 years old, Mc David J is looking to take his career to the next level. It has been a long journey to get to this point, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Although he knew he eventually wanted to pursue his music career, Mc David J’s life took him down a different path for a little bit. Mc David J served in the United States Air Force as a firefighter. His time spent in the Air Force taught him many life lessons that he carries today. It helped shape him into the man he is and is now helping him as he pursues his career in the hip hop industry.
When Mc David J’s fans listen to his music, he wants them to feel a new energy they have never felt before. “I want people to understand that true Hip Hop is not dead, and there is true lyricist out there. The ones who focus on the essential craft both lyrical and sonically. I want people to feel nothing but thunder when they hear me,” says Mc David J. He is passionate about putting out only the best music for his fans, and he delivers every time. In 2021 he plans to drop an incredible energetic album titled “GO MAD” on March 5th, and it is available for pre-save now on Apple Music and Spotify. Clearly setting the bar high for himself in 2021, Mc David J has a few other ventures he is working on as well.
Besides putting out original high-quality music, Mc David J has developed an app called “CoCalm” which showcases various talents ranging from artists to models, photographers, and more. The idea behind it is to help other up and coming people to find each other and make connections. An extremely powerful tool for anyone that is trying to make a name for themselves. Truly inspiring to see someone trying to make it on their own while also trying to help others along the way.
Taking his life down a handful of different avenues has gotten Mc David J to this point in his career. So far, he has been making a pretty good name for himself as well as bringing others up along the way. With multiple sectors that he can allocate his time and energy to, we should expect to see Mc David J making a lot of moves in 2021. Keep an eye on this up-and-coming artist as he is something special.
