Sufyan Cultrera is known for being a competent and efficient manager for professional MMA fighters. Cultrera currently holds the position of Vice President at the UFD Sports Management Agency in Germany, which is considered to be one of the most successful sports management agencies in the whole of Europe.
Over the years, Cultrera has worked with many sportspersons and has transformed their careers with his impressive marketing and management skills. He has had successful clients such as the UFC signed fighter, Mairbek Taisumov, and even collaborated with internationally prominent personas including Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, the legendary FC Barcelona player Ronaldinho, Antoine Griezmann and the list goes on.
One can cite the reason behind Cultera’s ability to be so successful in such a challenging field to be his childhood and upbringing. In his early years, Sufyan Cultrera had an exceedingly difficult life compared to most others his age and spent many years living life as a naive child on the dangerous streets of Casablanca.
Sufyan had to learn how to deal with change and adapt to new cultures from a very young age. After leaving his hometown Morocco at the age of six he had to adjust to the European lifestyle once he arrived in Austria. When he was 11 years of age, their family shifted to Germany. The sudden change from Africa to Europe was not easy for a child so young, and Cultrera had a difficult time adjusting to his new environment.
To make up for one aspect of life, Cultrera went overboard on another. He would spend all his time trying to learn languages and is now fluent in 5- German, Arabic, Italian, French, and English. He also took his education very seriously and considered it his way to escape to a better life. After going on fighting retreats to Thailand to develop his expertise, Cultrera went to study for half a year in Los Angeles.
Soon, he discovered that American culture was not for him. After that, he returned to Germany and went on to get a degree in Masters of International Business and Management from one of the country’s most prestigious universities.
As a college student, Cultrera got involved in MMA and other forms of boxing. He took his newfound interest quite seriously and even became a professional fighter with a record of 30 wins and only 2 losses during his stint in international kickboxing/Thai boxing.
However, as we all know, this sport is particularly bloodthirsty and fighters are always at risk of suffering from a massive injury. Thankfully, Cultrera had the presence of mind to leave when he could and instead decided to put his educational qualifications to use. The fact that he had already made some connection in the Pro-MMA world helped him establish himself.
At 32 years of age, Sufyan Cultrera has made himself an eminent personality for more reasons than just being in the sports industry. He is also an Instagram blogger and has been influencing more than 300K people about his lifestyle as a successful entrepreneur.
He has also signed many brand deals with corporations such as Mercedes, Nivea, Zara, Reebok, Airbnb, and luxury hotels such as Hyatt, Marriott, Park Regis, and many more. Sufyan Cultrera is a busy man and can be found constantly traveling between his homes in Dubai and Germany.
