The real estate industry is fast-paced and constantly changing, yet so many individuals make it a goal of theirs to break out in it. The rewards of succeeding far outweigh the risks of trying and failing, so it’s not surprising that many people go against the odds and try it out for themselves. 32-year-old Colton Lindsay, founder and owner of WGR Academy, is the perfect example of how someone can turn their dreams into reality.
Back when he was in the eighth grade, Lindsay’s mother worked as an office manager at a real estate agency, and every time he would stop by he’d be amazed by all the agents and their expensive cars. That’s when Lindsay knew that was the life he wanted for himself as well; being a successful agent was his destiny.
And he stuck with that dream, entering the industry for himself when he was 21 years old. The first ten months were a failure, as he only sold two houses, but Lindsay didn’t let that stop him and instead kept working hard. Flash forward to now, and he averages selling 75 houses a year.
By the time he was 28, Lindsay ranked in the top 1% of the sales agents in his real estate market. All his success as an agent inspired him to set off and start some business ventures, like creating his own company, The WGR Academy, where he created a 28-day challenge for new agents to maximize their skills.
Not only that, but he’s also created some training courses, like Financial Freedom Nation, Prospecting Mastery, Life Management, and The Prospecting Alliance. Lindsay also hosts his own highly rated podcast called The Colton Lindsay Show, which is available on Apple Podcasts.
Lindsay does his best to encourage others so they can reach their full potential and reach the levels that he himself has. On top of being a successful agent who’s even been featured in Top Agent Magazine, Lindsay is also a prospecting expert and a financial freedom teacher. He proves that even when someone reaches the top, they can always keep going higher.
Lindsay is also on YouTube, where he shares countless real estate tips, as well as clips of his public speaking engagements. He provides countless learning opportunities for those starting out, or just those that want to learn more. We recommend checking him out, as you never know what new bit of information you may hear.
