On Instagram, Bezlikiy is known for his opulent and glamorous lifestyle. Behind the scenes, he is also a big fan of the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This game has become incredibly popular in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), among other locations, placing in the top 10 within the region. The popularity of CS:GO in the CIS has led to a number of professional gamers becoming competitors in eSports tournaments. Seeing how good some of these players have become led to Bezlikiy having an idea. He would create an online reality show that livestreamed their lives 24/7 on Twitch.
Reality TV had begun to be popularized in the early 1990s with the debut of MTV’s The Real World. This was the first time audiences got to see what it was like to have an inside look into the lives of different unrelated people living under the same roof. Then, in 1999, a show called Big Brother made its entrance in the Netherlands, and subsequently 54 other countries and regions. That became a show that filmed people 24/7, although it would initially only air the highlights of that time within the Big Brother house. Fast-forward to 2021, and Bezlikiy updated the concept into something tailored towards the gaming world.
The participants of the show will all be living under one roof in a home that has all of the required equipment for livestreaming their lives, both when they are playing CS:GO and when they are simply going about their day. Everyone that is in the house will be teaming up together to be on the ground team, based on the game CS:GO. This game is currently in the top 10 in the CIS on the professional stage, while being in the top 170 globally.
Everything that happens in the house gets livestreamed on the world’s largest video streaming platform in the world, which is currently Twitch. Millions of people tune in every day to livestreams run by both amateur and professional gamers. It has become a form of entertainment to watch others play their favorite online games, especially ever since the pandemic came onto the global scene. Bezlikiy is banking on viewers and CS:GO fans being interests in watching a 24/7 livestream of some of the best pro gamers in the world.
The in-depth view into what it takes to be a professional gamer that competes in eSports competitions is finally possible. Viewers will see this novel concept play out over a specified period of time, which will highlight the lifestyle of a professional gamer. Gaming communities have been running abuzz about this novel online reality show, and look forward to seeing how it will play out.
