Here I sit down with Vania, to know a bit more about her journey as a female entrepreneur.

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Vania: By having the entrepreneurial spirit in my DNA (thanks Dad), since a young age, I always felt the urge to expand my awareness. Therefore, I followed my curiosity regarding how humanity and this planet operates, looking into the opportunities of living an extraordinary life by changing my mindset (and previous subconscious patterns), taking full accountability, and thinking differently than 99% of people.

But the two things that inspired me the most were first, the fact that my parents left everything behind and sacrificed their life for my siblings and myself, and the fact that I am privileged enough to have the strength, the health, the mindset, the drive, and the knowledge to create the life I want. I will never take this position for granted and quite frankly, how can you not make something amazing out of it?

How did you get started?

Vania: I started with Network Marketing at 17 years, while turning 18. Even though I quickly realized that this business model was not what I was looking for, it still introduced me to the possibilities of running a business.

After my first month in the industry, I was invited to speak in front of thousands of people, which truly fulfilled my heart for that time being. That is when I started my journey, moved to Amsterdam, a city where I knew I could evolve into the person I envisioned (without any constraints), launched multiple online brands, invested thousands of dollars into mentors, myself, and online products, failed, learned, and never stopped since then. Today I preach everything I learned in the last 7 years, from strategies and tactics to mindset work.

What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Vania: Losing all my revenue in 30 days and built it up again. When looking back, I now understand why it happened. It is not about the strategies or business procedures in the first place. I truly believe that you first need to become the person, before you can keep and attract the external results, which align with who you are, such as the money (as it is a byproduct).

Also, truly asking yourself “why” you are doing it, and therefore, living from a place of intention. The truest you are with yourself, the more you increase your internal value, and the more you get rewarded with an abundant flow of opportunities coming your way.

Therefore, it made me completely detach from everything external, I do not owe anything. It can be taken away from me every second, however, I know that there is never going to be a lack of it flowing into my life, as I proved myself already once that I can build it up anytime I want.

What is the Most Memorable Thing You’ve Done Since you Started your Business?

Vania: Investing my energy into turning a so-called “hopeless” vision into a success, so basically building memorable moments with simple everyday tasks, by helping and inspiring other people and businesses.

What is one book you recommend, and why?

Vania: The illusion of money, from Kyle Cease. Why? It teaches you fundamental truths that most people do not realize until a very late stage in life. It makes you avoid chasing the “empty” things.

In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Vania: It doesn’t matter what you do…as long as you follow your calling, you’ll always be remembered and a source of inspiration for those you lend your light to. You give a part of yourself to one person, and he or she shines it on another and another and another.

In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?

Vania: Remove “can’t do”, “won’t work” & “impossible” from your vocabulary.
