Jessica Mack- The Occupational Therapist Turned Culinary Expert

stethoscope, hospital, doctor

Dr Jessica Mack is a multi-talented woman. She is a certified personal trainer, content creator, lifestyle expert and food blogger. She is also an occupational therapist by profession. Talking about her educational background, Jessica got her Occupational therapy degree from Quinnipiac University located in Hamden, CT.

She completed her MSc in Counseling and got an ‘Educational Leadership and Policy’ certificate at LIU (Long Island University) located in Brookville in New York. After this, she got her clinical doctoral degree from Temple University located in Philadelphia.

Jessica has been in the profession of an occupational therapist for more than twenty years now. Due to her extensive experience in various fields and passion for assisting people with disabilities, Jessica took up the profession of an occupational therapist.

However, she developed certain illnesses which affected her job. Thus, she decided to quit working as a therapist. After that, she diverted her interest to food blogging. She started making her own recipes, trying food photography, food prep, etcetera.

She even made articles for Dr Oz’s blogs and website. Besides this, she made her appearance on several radio shows including WGBB, the ancient show of Long Island and The Doctors Show by Sirius or XM.

Like every other person, Jessica too had her share of hurdles in life. However, these problems could not stop her from achieving success. Her aim in life was to serve and support others.

After retiring from her loved job of being an occupational therapist due to chronic illnesses, she gave her all in food blogging and creating unique recipes.

Jessica Mack primarily creates vegetarian recipes which suit both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. She describes the process as ‘fun’ and ‘easy’. If you love chicken, mutton, or steak does not imply that you cannot enjoy vegan delicacies such as spaghetti squash primavera, quinoa vegetarian chilli, chocolate chip banana nut muffins, etcetera.

Jessica loves showing off her culinary skills and educating people about healthy life choices. She has appeared countless times on media platforms such as radio, television, podcasts, etcetera. This includes previously mentioned The Doctor’s Show by Sirius XM, Katie Couric Show, and Dr Oz Show.

Besides having exceptional culinary skills, she is also an amazing food photographer. This is because she is learning all about food blogging in her current culinary school. She is also striving to improve and modernize her food style and upgrade her food photography skills.
