Learn How Luke Cervino Helps Major Brands Connect With Influential Athletes

Luke Cervino is a 27-year-old entrepreneur and the founder of A1A Media, a brand representing world-class athletes and influencers. Asides from representing its clients on the world stage, A1A media also runs influencer campaigns, provides digital marketing solutions, and manages social media profiles.

A1A media has gathered critical acclaim, so much so that athletes such as Kendrick Perkins ( NBA Champion with the Boston Celtics in 2008) rely on its services. And due to his incredible work ethic and results-driven mentality, Luke has built an astonishing relationship with Kendrick!

Luke has managed to accomplish so much in such a short time. This led me to reach out to him for an interview regarding how he’s been able to find success in an otherwise saturated industry. Below, Luke shares some of his main tips and secrets for achieving success;

What habits led you to where you are now?

Try and create a pattern in your life and stick with it. Consistency is key! It takes 21 days to form a habit and 90 days to form a lifestyle. Build and Create the Lifestyle you want to live. Create self-motivation as if you owe it to yourself.

Asides from what I have mentioned above, one of my favorite habits is keeping a routine. I use Google Calendar to plan my day; whether it is a workout or meetings throughout the day, I log them on my calendar and make sure to get it done. Here are two other things I would recommend you do in the morning; the first would be to Eat healthily; what you put in your body will determine your performance throughout the day. The second would be to educate yourself or consume a piece of self-development content, maybe a podcast- this will set the tone for the day.

How did you make a name for yourself in your industry?

One word, Value! I stood out by bringing value to my network and the people I was working with. Also, trust is a big part of growing a business and growing a network. People need to trust you to do business with you, and word-of-mouth referrals are, in my opinion, still one of the strongest forms of marketing.

Hard work! Hard work! Hard work! I worked my ass off and never gave up, no matter how many times I failed. Of course, I faced obstacles just like anyone else. I had days when I was discouraged and contemplated if everything was going to work out. The mindset I instilled in myself to never give up helped me overcome all these.

What obstacles did you face and how did you overcome them?

A significant obstacle I faced was managing and prioritizing inbound leads. Most people face this same problem, too, somewhere in the middle of their journey. I also had issues with expanding my business and efficiency. How did I solve all of this? Well, by creating a system, organizing my work, and staying consistent with my system. Today, my system coordinates all the activities going on in my business.

What makes you different within your industry?

My firm A1A Media helps create and build relationships with athletes and brands who are searching for these athletes. After connecting both of them, I create a concept by producing meaningful content. Also, you should remember that context is king. If the content you put out isn’t meaningful and engaging, it will come off as boring.

Asides from that, I can also get your product/brand into the hand of the best athletes in the world. Summarily, I provide an outlet for brands/businesses to trust me; we work together on the brand’s vision and then create content with athletes and influencers who fit the brand. Then we market the content and drive sales for the brand.

I recently ventured into PR services – meaning that I can help get your name in massive publications.

How will you continue to grow, and what gives you the motivation to do so?

I’ll continue to do this by taking more calculated risks. Yes, more risks mean I might fail a few more times, but these are needed to grow.

My motivation comes from wanting to be the best in my field. I loved the great Kobe Bryant, RIP, and I love his Mamba Mentality. This pushes me forward every day. My family motivates me also. My father, mother, and grandparents sacrificed a lot to create opportunities for me to succeed, and it’s my job to capitalize on those opportunities.

Here is some advice I have for anyone striving to achieve success;

Just be yourself and work extremely hard at whatever it is you want to do. One of my favorite quotes is from American author Tony Robbins. It says;

A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action. If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided. If you want something, go get it!
