Human Design shows you where and how to access your body’s consciousness as a decision-making tool, and ultimately, how to live as your true self. It offers a map, or a manual, that indicates how you are unique as a person, and guides you in living in a manner that is in sync with who you are.
When we live in alignment with our true nature, we begin to experience a level of comfort and acceptance for who we are, instead of chasing who we are not—and we’re able to live out our real purpose in the world.
Human Design allows you to discover what makes you different from everyone else. It offers profound insights into your psychology, along with strategies and techniques for making correct decisions and ultimately leading to a life of more ease and fulfilment. Since discovering she is a Projector, Cora Wonderland has been using human design principles to influence her work as a performer.
Working as coach for other projectors, Cora Wonderland embodies what she teaches her students. Using a unique style of tools from the performing arts and combining them with human design, she has found a way to embody her own uniqueness and put that confidence towards her performances.
The mezzo-soprano, known for her radiant expression and intense stage presence, hails from Germany. Cora holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of the Arts Bremen, Germany, and has also recently graduated with a Master of Music from the City University of New York.
In 2018, Cora declared the winner of the prestigious international singing competition Kammeroper Schloss in Rheinsberg. From there she went on to perform as a soloist as part of the ensemble of Kammeroper Köln. Building upon this, Cora has built an impressive resume for herself in the world of opera and musical theatre.
Cast as Alma in the world premiere of A Bad Man’s Life by M.A. Floros in July 2018 at Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, Cora followed this being an Alto Soloist in “Messiah” by G.F. Haendel in 2019 in Brooklyn, leading her to land the leading role of Margaret Fuller for the world premiere of Transcendent by C. Drobny and H. Richardson in January 2020, Brooklyn.
Having performed all over the world in countries such as Norway, Austria, Germany, Italy and United States, Cora is one of the few to have had the honour of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York. Enjoying an experimental approach to opera and theatre, which she attributes to her human design insights, Cora loves to explore new concert formats. She is now working on a show called Embodied, which will explore the various ranges of human emotions.
Another new project in development of Cora is a modern compilation of classical art songs. “I want to create music videos for classical art songs that take place in our modern day and age, to make the underlying and universal message of these songs visible and open this genre to a younger audience,” Cora says.
Projectors are not here to pretend. They are here to be seen, recognized, and successful in what they set out to do, which perfectly describes the sensation that is Cora Wonderland. This performer is destined to make a mark on this world, and will certainly be one to watch out for.
