India is full of talented people, and among them, there’s one shining star named Rahul Singla, aka Avik Singla.
Rahul Singla is a 22-year-old model from Punjab’s Ludhiana. During his teenage days, he started his modelling career and has been a part of many fashion shows so far. However, the projects he had done so far didn’t come easily on his hands. For the first year, he had to overcome many challenges. Not all gigs were exciting, and not everyone paid well. But Rahul knew that he has to keep going on and that’s the only way to walk the ladder of success.
When asked what inspired him to be a model, Rahul shares, “During my early teenage days, I used to love dressing up. At that time, I thought modelling is all about looking good, wearing stylish clothes and good shoes. But when I started following the journeys of some of India’s favourite models like Milind Soman, Rohit Khandelwal, Nitin Chauhaan, Puneet Beniwala, etc., I realised it’s a challenging world. But these are my icons, and they encouraged me more to keep going on.”
Model Rahul Singla adds, “As a model, I love being in front of the camera, dressing well, walking the ramp and being a part of print/tv commercials. In North India, I have done many small fashion shows that boosted my confidence. I dream of walking the ramp for top Indian designers like Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Tarun Tahiliani, and many others. But I know it’s a hard journey, and I have to keep doing my best to reach that stage in my career.”
Rahul Singla, aka Avik’s popularity on social media, proves that he is not away from fulfilling his bigger dreams. On his Instagram page, the model shares handsome pictures wearing fashionable and trendy outfits. He has more than 74k followers on Instagram, and his pictures receive thousands of likes.
