Even today’s youth has many such gems who are winning hearts with their skills and beautiful music. One such young artist who has made a mark for himself in the singing industry is Manoj Sharma.
Manoj Sharma, a resident of Channarayapatna in Hassan, is one of the most renowned names in the singing industry. People of all generations enjoy his music and feel that he has a long way to go in his career. Manoj is the song of Ms. Lakshmi C S and Mr. Srinivas S R who are a distant relative of Pandari Bhai, a known actress of the yesteryears.
Manoj Sharma says that his inspiration to do best in life is his mother, who he calls his first Guru. He is trained in classical music by Vidwan K R Venkatesh and also by Smt. Savithri Manjunath. The talented singer is also trained under Mr.Pramod for light music.
Along with pursuing his dream, Manoj Sharma is also a good student. He is studying medical and will soon be a professional. Being a medical student means always having a busy life because of studies and college. However, Manoj managed to take out time to work on his passion that helped him be fhe State Rank holder in Karnatic Music under the classical music category. The award was bestowed with Kala Sourabha, Kalaaniketana as well as Gaana Anarghya titles
Manoj Sharma is also the youngest voiceover artist of VIACOM 18 Colors Channel and had received training for the same by Srinivas Prasad and Badekilla Pradeep. Manoj has been a voice of several artists via this channel. Due to immense support by Mr. Keerthi Narayan and Ms. Hamsa, his senior colleagues in Colors Channel, the working experience is Helping him learn a lot and grow as an artist. So far, Manoj has recorded for IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) in 28 Indian languages. The artist has also given voiceover to Discovery Channel’s popular project Emission Impossible which aired in August last year.
The young singer has performed for a lot of talented singers-musicians in the country such as Hamsalekha, Rajesh Krishnan, Archana Udupa, Vijay Prakash, Arjun Janya, Armaan Malik, and Jogi Sunita. He has also done solo international performances in Egypt, Singapore, Qatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He is also the main voice behind the devotional song Aarti, the world’s biggest Hindu Temple Akshardham.
That’s not his only list of achievements. He has proved his is a gem in the musical industry from a very young age when he was the finalist in Radio City Super Singer Season 9. For the film “Turthu Nirgamana”, he has sung a song for Robert. He also works for Chakravarthi’s Sulibele’s Kampu audio book app. In his career so far, Manoj Sharma has sung in eight Indian languages. He has lent his voice for 150 Kannada movies such as Kirik Party, The Villain, KGF – Chapter 1 and many more. For brands like Nissan, Josh, Wysh etc, he lent his beautiful voice for jingles and voiceovers. He is also entrusted with managing and handling social media content for more than three hundred celebrities.
