Muzammil Manna and Vikas Raj started the page Mera Bharat Mahan during the lockdown in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The page features everything happening in India. It also includes various social posts for those who are in need of some help. This viral page has helped many people having various issues and has come up like a ray of shining light for the helpless.
The Beginning of Friendship
Vikas Raj is a Patna resident and has completed his graduation in BTech Computer Science in 2016 whereas; Muzammil Mannan has completed Masters in MCA and is from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The two young & motivated strangers met at a seminar in Delhi that turned out in beautiful friendship. The two were not only creative-minded but also were highly influenced by the power of Digital Media. They had also worked together for Celebrity and Website Management, Brand & Song promotion, etc.
The Foundation of Mera Bharat Mahan
It was the early announcement of lockdown in various parts of the world during the covid19 pandemic. While surfing on the Internet one day, Vikas Raj stopped on the USA Country Facebook page “USA Today Portal”. The page covered all the happenings & events taking place in the USA. Various posts related to having any help were also circulated through the Facebook Page. The idea certainly grabbed the attention of Vikas Raj and encouraged him to implement the same concept in India. He told the idea to his best friend Muzammil who gave the green signal immediately.
Lockdown was imposed in India in March 2020. Vikas soon realized the need of making a Facebook Community page for the well-being of helpless people. Thus, “Mera Bharat Mahan” came into existence. The page includes minute details of what was happening in India. The posts related to the need for help were also circulated and the needy people are getting immediate help from each other. All the social issues were being posted on the community page and the Indian community was getting quick help from each other while spreading the smile on each face.
Within no time, the page received an immense response and was hit by 10 Million followers in August 2020. It grabbed first place in the list of India’s Top Best Content page. The duo has started the portal under the banner of F5 Entertainment Media Pvt Ltd.
Future Aims
With the tremendous response on Mera Bharat Mahan Facebook Page, the duo is now aiming to publish a book for non-internet users. “Everyone has a right of reading good content,” said the proud founders of Mera Bharat Mahan Vikas Raj and Muzammil Mannan. “So we are soon going to launch the book for the users who are still away from the world of the Internet,” said the duo!
