The Road to Success – How to Achieve your Own Version of Success

The Road to Success is a long journey with many unexpected obstacles says Brandon T. Adams, co-host of the the TV Series “Success in Your City”.

Imagine selling everything you own and going all in on filming your own TV Show around “Success”. Back in 2018 Brandon and Samantha Rossin, his fiance, now wife, sold their house in Iowa, 99% of their material things, and 2 of their businesses to go all in on traveling the country and filming their own show.

Brandon explains “I came to a crossroads in my life where I started to Ask myself “What is Success?”. I had achieved some milestones in my own business career, which many would from the outside looking in “Call a Success”. But I felt like something was missing. I was determined to figure out what Success meant to others from around the country”.

On December 27th, 2017 Brandon and Samantha embarked on their journey leaving their home in Iowa, with their first travel destination being Scottsdale, AZ where they got to learn from Shea Hillenbrand, a former 2X MLB All-Star who left the game of baseball at his peak to spend more time with family and open his own zoo. They spent 6 weeks in Scottsdale meeting with Entrepreneurs in the community and learning more about Shea’s Story. They documented their time there and filmed episode 1 of their TV Series on Shea’s Story. While there they even put on a fundraiser with community members, for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix, raising almost $40,000 for the Club to support Kids in Need.

Samantha said “Spending time with the kids at the Boys and Girls Club changed the way I viewed time and giving back. I got to live in the moment with them and remember what life is all about. I didn’t need to bring them gifts or any material things. They valued the time that we shared together. I think it’s important for all of us to remember that giving our time to others and spending our time on what truly makes us happy, is the most important part of Life”.

Friday, February 9th, 2018 Brandon and Samantha left Arizona and traveled to Austin, TX where they met with Ricky and KodiKay Cain of the Cain Realty Group. The Cain’s had found their own Success in life, going from a Real Estate business that did $1 Million in Home sales in 2007 to over $52 Million in 2019. The unique part of their story was that they put a percentage of every home sale they had towards their non profit Cain Cares, which renovated homes in need in the Austin Community.

During the time with the Cain’s, Brandon and Samantha got to work with them in renovating an elderly couples home in need. They also got to document this process for the TV Show.

After leaving Austin, they lived in 3 more cities before bringing their tour around the country to an end. The end result of their Journey was a totally different perspective around the meaning of Success, and a TV Series to show for it.

Brandon and Samantha Share 3 things they learned about Success during their Journey that you can apply towards your own Success

1. Success has many Forms

Everyone has their own version of Success in Life. The first step to achieving Success is figuring out what Success means to you. Once you figure that out, focus your energy and resources into achieving that. Every person that was featured on Success in Your City had figured out their own version of success and went all in on it!

2. Who you spend time with Matters

Your happiness and accomplishments will be determined by who you spend your time with. The Relationships built in each city taught us so many valuable lessons about ourselves and they all helped us in some way to achieving our success with the show. Also, your team and inner circle will determine the results you get in life. We set out to create an Award Winning Show. We found an extraordinary group of people to help us, and because of it the show became a Success. Have the right people in your life during your success journey.

3. Giving Back to Others

Each and every success story we learned from had “Contribution” and Giving back as a vital component to their own success. Each person used their talents and resources as a way to give back to others in their community. The more they gave, the happier they were. Also, the more we gave back during our trip, the more fulfilled we were with what we were doing.

On October 24th, 2019 Brandon and Samantha did a Theater Premiere of Episode 1 “Identity: The Shea Hillenbrand Story” in Scottsdale, AZ at the Road House Cinemas. The Premiere was a Huge Success. They sold out 2 theater rooms on the opening night and celebrated with their cast and crew.

Other members of the Success in Your City Team are Executive Producers Kevin Harrington “Original Shark from ABCs Shark Tank” and Jeff Hoffman “Co-founder of”. Their director of the show is Shawn Vela, with Vela Visuals. Brandon said “The only reason we have been able to achieve this big dream of ours is because of our Dream Team that has been supporting us along the way. No one achieves any monumental success alone. It takes a team to go far!”

A month after the theater release, episode 1 released on Amazon Prime. Success in Your City is a 5-part series which was set to release in early 2020, but due to COVID-19 the release was set back. With Theater Premiere’s not being an option, the team has decided to continue releasing the episodes through Online Premiere’s on Facebook, then doing exclusive releases on Amazon Prime.

This Thursday, July 30th at 7:00 pm CST episode 2 “Community” will be releasing on the Success in Your City Facebook Page for the very first time. There will be a pre-show where you will get to hear from Brandon, Samantha, Kevin Harrington, and Jeff Hoffman, along with the Cain Family who were featured on the show.

Also, this September the team will be releasing their book, “The Road to Success” How to Achieve Success in Business, Life, and Love, which was based on their journey traveling the country in 2018.

Success in Your City went on to Win 2 Emmy Awards. 1 for the “The Shea Hillenbrand Story: Against All Odds” and 1 for the Promotional Trailer for Success in Your City.
