Vassilios Bitsas Speaks on Young Influencers and Their Marketing

Vassilios Bitsas

If you’re looking to start streaming on a platform, he’ll connect you with cofounder Faze Apex. A highly known name in the world of streaming and gaming Business. Want to invest in crypto, real estate, or business ideas? He’ll put you in touch with Jordan Lintz and Luke Lintz, founders of HighKey.

Bitsas has been an entrepreneur since an early age. When he was 15, he started a successful gaming community in 2015; providing a professional gaming organization and merchandiser for his community. He then founded a lot of interest in not only marketing his own content, but show other young influencers, content creators, and even the average person how to take control of your own content, and how to brand it.

Around that time, Bitsas joined a well-known Sports and Entertainment company called Wealth Garden. Bitsas was the acting Senior Vice President of Entertainment from 2019 to 2020. Bitsas is currently in the early stages of creating his own Entertainment agency, which is a must for representing some of the biggest creators on the planet, including Jake Paul, MackenzieSol, Supreme Patty, and Lil Pump.

Bitsas obviously has an impressive resume but so do a lot of other entrepreneurs. What separates him is his uncanny ability to network.

He gives us some tips to improve our networking skills:

Don’t Go To The Top: Bitsas said, “A lot of people will try to go to the top of the food chain, when they shouldn’t be there. If you’re just looking for advice, don’t always go to the CEO. Maybe go to a VP or director. They might be able to be a better help to you.”

Be Concise And To The Point:  He said, “I usually try to be funny and make a couple of jokes, but I also try to be very specific about what I’m looking for.”

Show Them How They Can Help: ”If they show me why I can actually be an asset to their business, I’d be happy to hop on a call. You have to create the narrative. People forget that everything has a value prop,” said Bitsas.

Don’t Ask For Anything: Bitsas said, “Only ask for their time to chat. Don’t go into the relationship trying to gain a job, an investor, etc. Ask for money, get advice. Ask for advice, get money.”

Make Sure That You’re Prepared: He said, “If you’re going to get on a call with someone, make sure that you’re prepped. You don’t want to show up looking like a fool.”

Make Connections: “Try to connect people. So, if XYZ CEO wants to play soccer, I can introduce him to a soccer player who wants to be in tech. That’s providing value for both of them,” said Bitsas.

Take It Seriously:  Bitsas suggests, “Treat it like a job. Take it super seriously. Some people that I know are super well connected but they don’t network properly, so their network dies. Networks don’t stay around forever. You always have to be maintaining it, especially with bigger names. You want to make sure that you’re always in their ear, without being a bother, and always providing value.”

Build A Solid Reputation: He said, “Reputation is so important. My reputation is that I’m very, very loyal. And that I get done everything that I say that I’m going to take care of. But I am also blunt and a no-nonsense guy. And that’s what you want. Whenever you say you’re going to do something, make sure you get it done. And do it in the moment. Don’t put things off.”

Write: “Write! Use Medium articles, blogs, etc. The more you can show that you have credibility, and knowledge in the space, the more inclined people are to talk with you. Journalism and writing are a very important part of networking,” said Bitsas.
