Animoca Brands’ Official PFP: Mocaverse

Last week, Animoca announced the launch of their official Profile Picture (PFP) NFT, Mocaverse. The membership NFT collection will have 8,888 unique Mocas and the Mocaverse twitter bio says to “Join us in the realms to Learn, Play, Do Good, and Build together as we share our Web3 values!”

Animoca is a Deloitte Tech Fast winner and is ranked in the Financial Times list of High Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2021. They are a leader in digital entertainment, blockchain, and gamification that is working to advance digital property rights and contribute to the establishment of the open metaverse. Their Web3 investment portfolio goes on for days and many venture capital groups use an Animoca investment as a gauge for a potentially successful project. 

Coming in Q1 of 2023, the Mocaverse collection represents the shared values and ethos of Animoca Brands and its portfolio companies. Mocas are categorized into five tribes: Dreamers, Builders, Angels, Connectors, and Neo-Capitalists. This is meant to represent the changemakers in Web3 and access is limited.

Utility, or the benefits and access the NFT provides, will come in the form of realms. The four realms, learn, play, build, and do good, will function as channels for users to grow as a community. 

Holders will have exclusive access to membership benefits like AMAs, masterclasses, game passes, exclusive in-game assets, accelerator programs, and the ability to organize and contribute to social causes. With the reach of Animoca Brands, their all-star lineup of companies, and an impressive Web3 portfolio, our imagination is the limit for the exclusive benefits this PFP may offer.

Mocaverse NFTs are available by invite only. Animoca has reserved them exclusively for friends and family of Animoca Brands. Investors, employees, management teams, and partners of Animoca would have already received an invite via email and other special eligibility criteria will be announced soon. While it may be hard to mint a Moca on day one, Mocaverse is definitely a community to have on your watchlist.
