Craig Cavanagh Is All Set to Follow Up His “Green Eyed Soul” EP

Craig was born and raised in Liverpool, UK. He’s not just a singer but a songwriter too and has written/co-wrote all of his own songs. Craig’s love for music started as a child when he was part of his school choir group, he also attended the same weekly cabaret show stage school as Natasha Hamilton from Atomic Kitten.

In 2012, Craig Cavanagh was shortlisted for the final selection stages of the MTV Brand New Unsigned competition. His debut EP was released on iTunes and other outlets on 03/03/2013. He has various songs out on iTunes and on Spotify now. In 2013, Craig was one of the main acts to perform at Liverpool gay pride 2013.

The EP, entitled ‘Green Eyed Soul,’ was co-written and produced by Mairco Music and Extenso Music Unlimited with Bradley Mair. At the MTV competition, Bradley heard his song ‘Rise Again’ and asked if he could collaborate with him to re-record the track as he fell in love with it. Extenso has collectively worked with Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Mary J Blige, Sting, Connie Talbot (Britain’s Got Talent), and Adam Lambert (American Idol).

Currently, Craig is planning to write and record new material. He is a Brand Ambassador for SmithBros CBD oil in the UK. Craig’s love for music is infinite but so is love for tattoos. He’s currently the bar manager of a major nightclub in Liverpool, named Ink Bar. Ink Bar is Liverpool’s first tattoo-inspired nightspot. Decorated with a variety of stunning tattoo visuals from some of Liverpool’s finest artists.

Following a handful of years plagued with weight gain, health issues, pre-cancerous vocal cord cysts, and family turmoil, he has turned his life around. He is back to optimum vocal health and physical/mental fitness, after dropping 4 stone and becoming a fitness fanatic.

Along with his current role at Ink Bar, Craig is finally planning his return to the studio this year where he’ll follow up his EP “Green Eyed Soul”. Hungry to emulate the success of Singer-songwriter Sia whose big break came in late her 30’s.
