Mentorship can be one of the biggest factors that impact a new investor’s success. Investing in real estate can be an intimidating, overwhelming experience. Though it is entirely possible to go it alone, having a mentor or coach can greatly expedite and enhance your success. There is so much noise in the real estate industry, it can be impossible to know what decision is right for you or which investment strategy to pursue.   2. Create a plan. You should have some semblance of a plan before hiring a coach. That is not to say you need to have it all figured out, but you should enter into this relationship with a general idea of what you hope to gain from the relationship. 
  3. Start Looking for someone whose values align with your own. Not every coach will be the right fit for you. Look at client testimonials and feedback, take your time learning more about the coach and make sure that their values and motivation are in alignment with your own. This will lead to a much smoother relationship down the road.
