One of the most important parts of any entrepreneurs day is the sleep they have the night before. There is so much noise out there about how when you’re an entrepreneur you need to pull in all nighters and never sleep to get your work done.
I don’t believe in this work hard and never sleep mentality. Quite frankly I find it funny. When I was starting out in college and early on in my professional career I was a night owl that would stay up late and sleep in late basically wasting away my days.
This is what I thought it meant to be successful, working long hours and never sleeping. Well, I was completely wrong. As a matter of fact one of the best books I read in 2017 happened to be Thrive written by Arianna Huffington, the Founder of The Huffington Post and Thrive Global.
She talks about how important it’s been for her to smarten up and have a healthier lifestyle that isn’t go-go-go all the time. Something that is quite opposite these days in the entrepreneurship world, but a message that is refreshing to say the least.
Maybe you are one of those people that doesn’t sleep very well or are restless when you hit the sheets. If you are one of these, I found a company that has cool products that you can incorporate into your home that could help.
The Tools Needed for a Good Night’s Sleep
You might be thinking I’m going to tell you about some fancy new gadget that tracks your sleeping pattern and tells you when to wake up and when to go to sleep. Unfortunately I found a rather simpler solution.
Let me introduce you to Aloft Home, a company that is redefining home linen products that all of us use everyday (well I hope you do at least) I’m talking about sheets and towels.
Most of us have a bed with sheets on them and when we wash our face, have a shower, or dry our hands during the day we use towels. Aloft Home is setting a new standard in the home linens industry and let me tell you how.
How Is Aloft Home Innovative & Different?
First off you’re probably thinking that home linens or the type of sheets you sleep in aren’t that important, but according to TIME Magazine your towels and sheets are a lot dirtier than we all might think. If they are as dirty as this study suggests then it means we need to pick better towels and sheets. This is where Aloft Home comes in with their OEKO-Tex certified linens that meet all sustainability standards, and stay cleaner and fresher far longer than your average linens. They also use a special silver fibre technology that reduces 99.9% of bacteria growth.
They are redefining the entire industry and providing a better alternative to all of us that is not only luxurious and comfortable, but also sustainable, clean, and affordable.
What I like the most about Aloft’s product line is that they have picked an everyday item like sheets and towels that are used by pretty much everyone on earth and are providing a better solution or in business terms, they have built a better “mouse trap”.
If we as entrepreneurs want to have more energy to build our businesses, over deliver on client requests, and provide superior service, it’s important for us all to get a good night’s sleep.
Not only do the linens stay cleaner longer and carry less bacteria, they also use some of the best cotton in the world sourced from both Turkey and the USA.
To leave you with some inspiration as to why we should all get some more sleep each night, here’s some wise words from Dr. Christine Carter,
“When we feel like there isn’t enough time in the day for us to get everything done, when we wish for more time, we don’t actually need more time. We need more stillness.”
