An Entrepreneur’s Journey – An Interview with Founder of Omnisocial, Alireza Rabar

Alireza Rabar is the founder and director of Omnisocial, an online advertising agency based in Perth, Australia. Helping businesses navigate the ever evolving landscape of lead generation, Omnisociall creates tailored strategies to ensure their clients are not only employing the right methods for them, but getting the most they possibly can from them.

Below we chat to Ali about his journey and creating Omnisocial.

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Ali: Just the urge to add value to this world and the people in it. I always wanted to grow and share it with other people.

How did you get started?

Ali: I came to Australia in 2015 to create a better life. I worked in a couple of full time gigs but soon after I realised I’m an entrepreneur at heart. So, I decided to create my own brand and help people to grow their business alongside me. I chose marketing and lead generation, as I realised this is the biggest leverage in any business.

With no marketing, there won’t be any sales, and with no sales there won’t be any business.

What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Ali: The biggest start up challenge for me was to find the way to generate a consistent flow of high quality leads for my business. I had to go through a lot of testing and trenches to find a methodology and system that can fill my pipeline with quality leads.

I’m very grateful for the challenge, as I battle tested my method and found something that not only helped me solve my lead generation problems but also helped my clients to always have a full pipeline of opportunities.

What is the most memorable thing you’ve done since you started your business?

Ali: Sharing my story and learning with people. I feel life and business is all about connection, and the connection is built through sharing your success, failure, story and vulnerability.

What is one book you recommend, and why?

Ali: ‘’The Obstacle is the Way’’ by Ryan Holiday. Business is all about riding the emotions through ups and downs. This book has helped to stay calm and content through the journey and continue to add value to my people.

What are your top 3 favourite online apps, tools or resources and what do you love about them?

Ali: I have built my entire business online from lead generation to operations. We use Clickup for project management, our own in-house marketing CRM and automation system, Omnisocial, to help our clients manage all their marketing and sales processes in one place.

In addition, I love Slack for effective communications with our clients and team members.

In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Ali: Have a positive impact and give back to the community.

In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?

Ali: I’m gonna be honest with you, the journey is tough but it’s worth it. Stick with your vision and no matter how hard it gets, push through it. It will happen. Make sure you get coaches and consultants to help you with what you struggle in business and life. You don’t have to fight alone.
