There is no denying that the world of Visual effects is constantly evolving and it is one of the most competitive fields in the world. Being a VFX artist is one of the most challenging yet rewarding career paths in the world as claimed by Beautifuldiz, who is better know as VFX Goddess.

She is considered to be one of the most prominent faces in the trade and has been making a lot of buzz with her unique style and creations.

In her career, she has worked with celebrities like Howard Stern and has shot with Marvel comics as well. Beautifuldiz started her journey as a photographer and has recently branched out into VFX. Her creative vision is not limited to a single stream and that is what has helped her to establish herself as an artist and a creator.

According to her,

“I got started by making shorts skits. I would record on my iPhone. I always wanted to be an actress in action films but there really wasn’t many roles available for African-American females. Especially as an action hero. So I decided to teach and record myself. I took martial arts, I started doing cosplay and making short VFX videos filmed by me, edited by me starring me.”

This helped her to get a first-hand sense of how she wanted to represent the African-American community. Speaking about the same, Beautifuldiz adds, “Black representation is important on the big screen and in animation. Growing up I didn’t see anyone that looked like me. There aren’t many black characters in action-hero films, especially black females and when they exist, they are usually helpful friends, or comedic sidekicks, rather than leads.

My goal was to change that. Some studios have recently started making black lends Like Marvel (Black Panther) I was so excited to see the Dora Milaje. I really hope to see more of this in the future.”

Her Instagram account reflects the same sentiment and Beautifuldiz has now become an inspiration to countless people in the trade.
