New York DJ and Producer Amanda Haze has been rising in her vein of the industry for years now. Growing a following thanks to her unique sound and style, Haze has a bright future ahead. However, in the beginning, she had difficulty finding her way in life, finding herself taking on corporate internships, and spending time in offices. Haze knew this wasn’t right for her, saying, “I never felt satisfied. I always felt like there was more for me to give to the world, and I wanted to focus on creating and using my mind.”
Afterward, Haze pushed to pursue something where she could utilize her creative mentality. This ended up being music. After an experience experimenting with a friend’s euro rack while abroad, Haze fell in love with the sound and wanted to create her own music. Haze developed her sound by mixing different dance genres into an original flavor, calling it “house music – but on Mars.” Haze then began releasing popular song mixes on SoundCloud, where she got her first major following thanks to her long-running series “RIZE N VIBE RADIO”.
Bringing her talents to the stage in live performances, Haze felt that her time spent in music had been truly paying off. “I can’t really express how fulfilling it is when I see people dancing to my DJ set or my music while the sun starts to rise and everyone’s been up since the night before. I really work hard to give people this sense of, like, ethereal escapism. It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around ever doing anything else.”
In addition to music, Haze launched her own creative agency, offering services like brand consultation, design work, and marketing solutions. She has been able to become her own boss, pushing her creative mind to pay off in a big way. Between her two industries, Amanda Haze has found herself in a position of success.
Kicking off 2021 with a brand new single, “Feel It”, Haze is looking forward to releasing more music and growing as both an artist and entrepreneur. You can keep up with her via the links below.
