You probably have heard the phrase, “Well, he had a really good reason.” When you succumb to the world’s circumstances, you don’t take responsibility for anything. You become the victim of your reasons. When this happens, your life is controlled by outside circumstances and even your greatest accomplishments can only be categorized as “luck.” The remedy for adhering to reasons is embracing the concept of CHOICE.
Choosing puts you in a power position. You are at the cause in the matter, rather than the subject of its circumstances. Choose that you have not met your deadline or failed to make the call you intended. Just like you would choose to succeed at certain tasks and experience the power you’ll gain from holding yourself solely responsible.
Raise The Standard of Who Hears Your Ideas. Stop telling everyone you meet, Your Big, Juicy Dreams.
Be selective. Stop being seen by people who can’t see you. We understand you’re extremely passionate about what you’re creating, but if you share that wisdom with anyone, one of three things can happen-
- Take for example sharing with a friend or family member whose realities are on a lesser frequency, where limitations exist indefinitely. You can explain your vision ten different times or ten different ways. It’s almost a guarantee; full-fledged computing will not exist if someone’s beliefs don’t match the level to which yours, as an entrepreneur, have developed.
- This leads to them supporting you in staying small. The person’s “realistic” beliefs and even love for you, also comes with a very quick, supportive gesture every time you have an excuse about not executing your work. This will keep you from true growth and from accomplishing your deepest desires.
- Your time is valuable. If you’re spending it spreading the word and not doing the work, you’re no different than a college campus protest or door-to-door salesman. Not everyone needs to hear you. Your aim should not be the “majority,” it should be aimed at those who can lend their expertise and feedback to maintain your winning drive, character, and actions.
Perform at an Exceptional Pace- The Cure to Fear is Action!
ACTION ACTION ACTION. We don’t need to over-complicate things to solve them; we overcomplicate things so that we don’t have to perform at peak levels. The answer to fear is action. Make no mistake; fear may linger once you’ve taken action, but instead of becoming paralyzed by it, you’ll just worry about the new action you’ve taken. Anxiety lives in the future; it is a thought or concern that lives in worrying about a future outcome. It does not exist in the present moment. If you master taking action at high levels, you’ll simply move the fear down the line (along with your inevitable growth and progress) until it lessens and eventually, what you’re left with is high performance.
