What Should Real Estate Agents Post on Social Media?

The real estate industry is becoming a more and more desired career path for those interested in the housing market. A report by the National Association of Realtors revealed that over 51% of buyers found the home they purchased on the internet. With so much home buying traffic occurring online it is crucial that real estate agents leverage social media to their advantage.

Here are 3 tips for conquering your social media marketing as a real estate agent:

Engage with your audience

A creative website, Facebook page and Instagram account with valuable information related to local real estate can be an extremely helpful resource to potential buyers. Creating branded graphics with home buying/selling tips and engaging with your audience is critical in creating a meaningful social presence.

Support your community and get involved

Getting involved with your community is a must as a real estate agent. Whether that means attending local events or organizing one on your own – social media is the best place to get the word out!

Start a local Facebook group

Facebook is one of the best relationship-building tools to connect with new clients. Creating a local town group with valuable information about homes for sale, local events and other resources is an excellent way to gain credibility within your area.
