Directing a movie is not an easy task even if it is short movie. You know Poolside took 4 years because there are many ups and downs the issues about which the common men are not aware. In Alex’s case unfortunately the co-director of the movie Erik Schuessler died and it shocked him. He directed this movie as a tribute to his partner.
After the under-production events of the movie and the death of his partner, Kinter’s confidence was too low and, he started feeling as though the film would end up flopping. As he expressed in his own words to Just Fame saying, “The project was so far behind and a major partner in the film passed away, so we were kind of down about it and didn’t really have any kind of expectation.”
Poolside’s success has boosted his confidence, and he’s disclosed that there are multiple feature film scripts that he’s interested in starting to develop, hoping to bring some investors on board. We will see more of his crafts in the coming years over time. You can follow Alex on Instagram where he has more than 11K followers already.
