After one week of posting on Snapchat’s Spotlight feature, Amel says he received a notification from the social media platform — his videos had earned him a life-boosting $10,000 in just under a month.
“I didn’t believe it was real at first,” the successful high school dropout, 19, tells Influencive.
Amel Elezovic is one of the thousands of people getting a hefty paycheck by using Spotlight, which gives prime placement to some short-form videos — ranging from science experiments to comedy skits — submitted by users on the app’s homepage.
“I was skeptical, and so were my friends!” Amel recalls.
As of November last year, Snapchat has financially rewarded more than 1 million dollars daily to users who are posting content — the more views and shares their videos get, the more money they can earn. Since launching, Snapchat has paid approximately $100 million to more than 2,000 creators, a Snapchat representative tells Influencive.
Amel — who managed to accumulate roughly 15 thousand subscribers on his Snapchat account in just under a month — says he delved into Spotlight in late December to connect with a new audience.
“There are a lot of opportunities to make money in today’s era. The traditional school system is seriously flawed. Now is the time to build wealth and invest your money, Amel ends.”
Amel Elezovic, a 19-year-old Entrepreneur from Norway is an inspiration to those who want to make a drastic change in their lives. As someone has rightly said that a person is just a decision away from changing their life’. That’s exactly what happened when Amel decided to quit his studies to focus on working and earning money for survival.
Venturing into software engineering, digital marketing, investing in cryptocurrency and stocks proved a blessing to Amel Elezovic as he is too good in the field. He believes that he learned many skills and more about Business when he started working which even the books hadn’t really taught him.
After all the efforts, severe dedication, and persistence, Amel Elezovic made a name for himself as one of the youngest entrepreneurs in Norway with 15 million software downloads under his portfolio alongside his YouTube channels. Amel wants to tell young people like him that if they too want to be a successful entrepreneur, they should be first able to handle failure. It’s a part and parcel of the journey and once they find a way out of it, success is just a step away.
